Beside publishing the created ICC profiles, I will use this site to share my personal experience with my HP Photosmart Pro B9180 photo printers. Since March 2010 Hewlett_Packard is no longer selling this printer as a new device, but there may be some dealers which stil have new ones in stock. My personal experience wth this printer is very good. Beginning with the announcement of this printer in 2006 I was very interested in that device, but that time I did not prefere to print my own images. Meanwhile I changed my mind, based on the experience I made when we organized an exhibition in Stuttgart city hall with photographs from St. Louis Camera Club. The time we had to get the digital submitted images to paper was very short and all labs asked for high prices to be paid. So we decided to print on the Designjet Z2100 of another camera club and got so fantastic results.
There are a few remarkable features with that printer:
In general, all comments are also valid for the Photosmart Pro B8850, I also have access and personal experience with that printer. Togther with HP Designjet Z2100, both the B8850 and B9180 use the same printheads and ink. So all these printers have comparable results on printed images.
